Pre-Arrival

We have a website where all the rooms are pictured. Enquiries can be made by letter, telephone, or directly from the website. Reservations can be made by telephone or email. All guests are provided with a local map showing directions to the property.

Arrival & car parking Facilities

Parking is available for up to 6 cars alongside the accommodation. Upon arrival the guests are given the keys and a full tour of the property by the owners, Brian & Chris Peacock.

Main entrance

Only a few yards from your car is the front door. 2 steps down from the parking area, onto the patio and one step up into the lobby / utility room. This area contains washing machine, tumble drier, sink and drainer, payphone, fire extinguisher and first aid kit. There is plenty of space to store outdoor clothing and benches to facilitate changing shoes and boots.

Off to the right is a cloakroom with toilet and basin and a cupboard containing house cleaning equipment, iron and ironing board, spare toilet rolls etc.

Kitchen

Straight ahead from the entrance door is the entry to the kitchen via a glazed door. Two sides of the kitchen are lined with worktops and cupboards. Integrally fitted are; sink and drainer, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, electric twin oven, and a ceramic hob. There is also a microwave oven and a radio. One cupboard has immediate items such as; tea, sugar, coffee, and various condiments etc. A circular table with four chairs and several stools are provided. A high chair is available on request.

Dining room

From the kitchen access is gained to the dining hall. This contains an extendable table providing up to eight places. A dresser with drawers and cupboards contain all dining room accessories. Double French doors open onto the patio.

Sitting Room

A spacious and comfortably furnished lounge area is approached from the dining hall via a 33 inch wide, 12 step helical staircase.

Four sofas provide spacious seating for nine adults. One sofa converts to a fully sprung double bed. A large flat screen television, combining VHS and CD recorder players, and “Freeview box”. There is also a music centre.

Bedrooms

From the sitting room through a heavy curtained archway is the corridor to access the three double bedrooms.

All the bedrooms have en suite toilet and shower rooms, and fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets. The master King-size bedroom en suite has a bath with overhead shower. This room may be accessed from corridor or bedroom, both doors lockable from the inside. A cot is available if required.
